The Table is the name of our new community cafe. The name comes from Psalm 23, The Lord is My Shepherd, and describes someone finding peace, refreshment, comfort, hope and joy even in difficult times.
The Table is an inclusive place for everybody in our community.
The Table connects with the idea of eating together. Jesus was often found eating with both friends and strangers, and is most famously remembered eating at the Last Supper.
Our Community cafe has opened
9.30am - 2.30pm - Monday to Friday
9.00am - 2.00pm - Saturday.
We are a social enterprise that tries to source a lot of what we sell ethically and sustainably which means some of our costs/prices may not be the cheapest, but we aim to have affordable options on the full menu as well. More importantlly, as a social enterprise, any profit will go back into this community.
